Last Day: Kim Dorland’s Nocturne at Angell Gallery
February 18, 2011 § Leave a Comment
If you like thick or glow in the dark paint, the supernatural, or to see an artist who truly likes to experiment with and push his work, go see Kim Dorland at the Angell Gallery!
Stand outs included: a taxidermied squirrel charmingly draped with glow in the dark paint, the “Tree House” (2010) painting with it’s wood and sparkles, and perfect dusk-blue background, and “The Girl Disappears” (2010) depicting a faceless woman being lovingly enveloped by a folkloric forest.
TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY.
You can watch an interview with Dorland here.
