Here is a list of some of the new shows on display in and around Toronto this week.
George Boileau, Jim Reid and Amanda McCavour are showing at Lonsdale Gallery from October 13 – November 13.
Rachel McFarlane has a new show of abstracts rendered after maquettes she makes out of refuse at Nicholas Metivier Gallery from October 13 –November 5.
The group show “Guns and Butter” is at the OCADU Student Gallery located at 285 Dundas St W.
Activists, curators and landscape architects Adrian Blackwell and Jane Hutton have a show at the freshly installed G Gallery, located at 134 Ossington Ave.
“Crossing Natures,” a group show featuring Yvonne Housser and Joyce Weiland, is on at Paul Petro Gallery from October 14 – November 12.
Outremont based artist Fabian Jean has a new collection of paintings Mira Godard Gallery from October 15-November 12.
David Holt and Suzanne Nacha are both showing at Loop from October 15 – November 6.
A mini Ivan Eyre retrospective is on at the Loch Gallery from October 15 – November 2.
Figurative painter Susan G. Scott is showing at the Drabinsky Gallery from October 1-November 5.
Group show “Nowheresville,” featuring work by artists from the Philippines, China, England, Switzerland, Iran, the U.S.A., and Canada as they struggle with being in-between territories is on at General Hardware from October 15 – November 12.
Micah Lexier has a new show opening at Birch Libralto which runs from October 20 – November 19.
Gallery Moos has a show of fresh work by Viktor Mitic running from October 20 – November 22.
